NOTICE OF ACTION TO: Paul Ryan Smith, former employee of West Edmonton Mall Property Inc. Paul Ryan Smith is a Defendant in a Statement of Claim filed at the Court of Queen's Bench at Edmonton, Alberta on December 12, 2011 in Action Number 1103 19522. In accordance with the order of Master Schlosser of March 6, 2013, this notice shall comprise service of the Statement of Claim and Notice to the Defendant for service upon you. The Statement of Claim alleges that you assaulted the Plaintiff Ryan Lauzon, which left the Plaintiff with injuries and related loss. You shall have 30 days to respond to the Statement of Claim by filing a Statement of Defence or Demand of Notice, failing which the Plaintiff shall proceed to obtain default Judgment against you.
